NIS Tablet Inspection Machine

The NIS transports the tablets on a conveyor belt in an upright position where 4 CCD cameras inspect the surfaces of the tablet for defects providing a 2-D inspection method that allows defective tablets to be removed at the designated position. The NIS is capable of inspecting up to 100,000 tablets per hour.

Can inspect non-coated tablets, film coated tablets, sugar coated tablets, imprinted tablets, and tablets with engraved marks

Size Change

SIZE CHANGE

The NIS requires minimal change parts. Changes in the thickness of the tablet only requires an adjustment of the guide rails.

CCD Technology

CCD TECHNOLOGY

The NIS uses reliable and field proven parts such as CCD cameras and LED illumination. Therefore, the machine requires little experience and no special techniques to operate.Size of defects such as spotty or broken tablets can be managed and controlled in the inspection conditions for the tablets.

EASY TO USE

An intuitive and easy to use operator touch screen is included making operation easy and requires little training to operate. The touch screen is able to display the inspection results in real-time and results can be printed out when needed.

The tablet conveyance section, can be easily attached or detached for cleaning, assuring clean up operation without any danger of left over tablets.

Side Surface Inspection

SIDE SURFACE INSPECTION

Side surface inspection can inspect the sides of tablets for broken or chipped tablets.
