PharmaMarker 450 Track and Trace Machine


The PharmaMarker™ 450 Track and Trace system conveys, uniquely marks, and verifies up to 450 pharmaceutical packages per minute for the purpose of: tracking individual packages through each phase of production; allowing accurate traceability of each package back to the point of production; and preventing counterfeiting of pharmaceutical packaging.

Can be used as a standalone system or as a component of an integrated production/packaging line, the system allows paperless compliance with existing and upcoming, national and international Track and Trace regulations including:

LINE DIRECTOR™ SOFTWARE

The PharmaMarker™ system employs the Line Director™ Production Line Management Software from Crest Solutions to manage individual or multiple vision systems, coding devices, checkweighers, and associated equipment across automated production and packaging lines.
Easy to use HMI

EASY TO USE HMI

Machine and software parameters can be easily set using the Windows based HMI that is controlled via a 17" touchscreen mounted on a swivel arm or with an optional keyboard with trackball.
Excellent print quality up to 450 containers/minute

PRINTING

A non-contact thermal ink jet or laser print head (dual print head) imprints label information including a DataMatrix code containing a unique random serialized code, batch number, lot number, production date, expiration date, and other desired information.



Inspection performed with Cognex Insight

VISION BASED INSPECTION

Usign Cognex high resolution vision technology, the system reads the mark for verification of the printed data, including lot and date code verification, print inspection, DataMatrix code inspection and identification, label alignment, text verification (OCV/OCR), and for recording of the information on an internal database.

Quick size change adjustment

SIZE CHANGE

The unit's quick-change mechanism allows rapid adjustment to accomodate a wide range of carton sizes.
